This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile application Lock Alarm - Re: U ("the App") provided by the Lock Alarm - Re: U operator ("the Provider"). The App is provided on an "AS IS" basis.

1. Information Collection and Use

The App does not require user registration and does not directly collect any personally identifiable information. However, the following limited technical information may be automatically collected by the operating system or standard system features for the purpose of ensuring proper operation and quality improvement:

  • Device type
  • OS version
  • App stability information (crash logs, etc.)

The App does not collect location data (including precise location). The App does not access the camera, microphone, contacts, or photo library. Please note that third-party advertising services may collect technical information in connection with ad display.

2. Use of Screen Time API

The App uses the iOS Screen Time API (FamilyControls / ManagedSettings / DeviceActivityMonitor) to provide app usage restriction features.

  • Information about apps selected by the user is stored on the device only as opaque tokens (ApplicationToken). The Provider cannot view or obtain app names or usage data.
  • All data acquired and processed through the Screen Time API remains on the user's device and is never transmitted to external servers.
  • Use of this feature requires the user to grant Family Controls permission.

3. Advertising Services (Google AdMob)

The App uses third-party advertising services to display advertisements. These third parties may collect technical information such as advertising identifiers (IDFA), IP addresses, device information, and app usage data in order to show advertisements tailored to users' interests.

The Provider cannot control the information collected by these third parties; however, each service handles information in accordance with its own privacy policy.

4. For Users in the EU and EEA (Rights Under GDPR)

This section applies to users residing in the European Union (EU) and the European Economic Area (EEA).

Legal Basis for Processing
Personal data processed for advertising purposes in the App is based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). The App uses Google AdMob's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to obtain consent upon first launch or as required.

Data Transfers Outside the EU/EEA
Third-party advertising services (including Google AdMob) may transfer data to servers outside the EU/EEA (primarily in the United States). Such transfers are made under appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) approved by the European Commission.

Your Rights (GDPR Articles 15–22)
If you reside in the EU/EEA, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access: Request access to your personal data processed by the Provider or third parties.
  • Right to rectification: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
  • Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"): Request deletion of your personal data under certain conditions.
  • Right to restriction of processing: Request that processing of your data be restricted under certain conditions.
  • Right to data portability: Receive data you have provided in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Right to object: Object to processing of your personal data for specific purposes.

Opting Out of Personalized Ads
To opt out of personalized (targeted) advertising, you can limit ad tracking in your device settings (iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Apple Advertising > Personalized Ads).

5. Data Storage

The App does not store any user data on external servers. All data related to alarm settings and app usage restrictions is stored on the user's device and managed by the device's operating system. When the App is uninstalled, related data is deleted in accordance with the device's standard behavior.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for individuals under the age of 13. The Provider does not intentionally collect personally identifiable information from anyone under 13. If it comes to the Provider's attention that personal information has been collected from a child under 13, appropriate action will be taken promptly.

7. Security

The Provider strives to protect user information. The App uses security mechanisms provided by the operating system to ensure the safety of information processed on the device.

8. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated as needed. Changes will be published on this page with an updated effective date. Users are encouraged to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

9. Effective Date

This Privacy Policy is effective as of May 31, 2026.

10. Consent

By using the App, you consent to this Privacy Policy. Users residing in the EU/EEA may withdraw their consent to advertising-related data processing at any time (GDPR Article 7(3)). Consent can be withdrawn through your device's advertising settings. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal.
