These Terms of Service (hereinafter "Terms") set forth the conditions of use for the mobile application Video Player - FOCA (hereinafter "App") provided by the FOCA operator (hereinafter "Provider"). By downloading or using the App, users are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.
Article 1 (Terms of Use)
The App is provided on an AS IS basis. The Provider makes no warranties of any kind regarding the accuracy, completeness, usefulness, or fitness for a particular purpose of the App.
Article 2 (Intellectual Property Rights)
All copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights relating to the App and all content associated with it (including programs, designs, and logos) belong to the Provider or to third parties who hold legitimate rights thereto. Users may not reproduce, modify, adapt, decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or distribute the App in whole or in part without the prior permission of the Provider.
Article 3 (Prohibited Acts)
Users must not engage in any of the following acts when using the App:
- Acts that violate laws or public order and morals
- Acts that interfere with the operation of the App
- Unauthorized access or unauthorized use
- Intentional exploitation of bugs or defects in the App
- Any act deemed inappropriate by the Provider
Article 4 (Device Management)
Users are responsible for appropriately managing their own devices and access to the App. The Provider assumes no responsibility for cases where the App does not function properly or where security issues arise as a result of device modification (such as jailbreaking or rooting).
Article 5 (Changes to and Termination of Service)
The Provider may change, add to, or discontinue the App without prior notice to users. In the event that provision of the App is terminated, users shall cease using the App and delete it from their devices as necessary.
Article 6 (Advertising)
The App is provided free of charge and is supported by advertising revenue. By using the App, users acknowledge that advertisements may be displayed within the App.
The App uses Google AdMob as its advertising service. Advertisements displayed may be personalized based on user interests and device information, subject to user consent where required by applicable law.
EU/EEA Users: In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Google's EU User Consent Policy, users in the EU/EEA will be presented with a consent dialog upon first launch of the App. Users may choose to accept or decline personalized advertising. If consent is declined, non-personalized advertisements will be displayed. Consent may be managed at any time by visiting https://adssettings.google.com.
Users may also purchase the Ad-Free Plan to remove in-app advertisements.
Article 7 (Paid Plans)
The App offers the following paid plans via the App Store:
- Premium Plan (1 month / 1 year): Grants access to premium features.
- Ad-Free Plan (1 month / 1 year): Hides in-app advertisements.
Pricing for each plan is displayed on the respective App Store listing page.
Auto-Renewal: Each plan automatically renews for the same period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
How to Cancel: You can cancel at any time via Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. You may continue to use the plan until the end of the current period after cancellation.
Refunds: Refunds are subject to Apple's refund policy. The Provider does not process refunds directly.
After Plan Expires: If a paid plan expires or is cancelled, the App will automatically revert to the free plan. Advertisements may be displayed again.
All billing and payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. The Provider does not collect or store any payment information.
Article 8 (Disclaimer)
The Provider shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the App, except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence on the part of the Provider. The Provider shall not be responsible for any disputes arising between users and third parties in connection with the use of the App. The Provider shall not be liable for any damages or disputes arising from the content of advertisements displayed within the App, linked destinations, or services provided by advertising distributors.
Article 9 (Changes to Terms)
The Provider may modify these Terms when deemed necessary. Any revised Terms shall take effect upon being posted on this page.
Article 10 (Governing Law)
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan.
Effective Date
These Terms are effective as of January 20, 2026.
